She reacted with a very very big smile and said "yes". Oh, I love her.
Hi Aziraphale, that's really good. Sounds like a win win situation for you both. Your good lady can have the bed all to herself without concern for you and you can enjoy giving her that luxury.

The cherry on the cake is that it sounds she is really pleased to see you when she awakes from a lovely nights sleep, and you are all attentive to her which is even better. How about a cup of tea / coffee in bed.
